What we offer

We believe that what we offer is unique in terms of the content, application, and approach we take in organising our Reformation and Covenanter Tours.

The Content

Our experienced and knowledgeable tour guides and organisers, live and minister in Scotland. They know the country, the people and the places of historical importance. They will not only take you to the well know and famous locations, they will also take you to places of real historical signficance.

Few Tours will give you the opportunity: to climb Skeoch Hill, scene of the three day communion season which thousands of Covenanters attended, or visit the grave of the last know Covenanter martyr 16 year-old George Wood, in the picturesque village of Sorn, or walk out to Magus Moor where the ‘despised’ Archbishop Sharp was assinated. These sites, which are well off the beaten tourist path, hold the key to a comprehensive understanding of what Christ was allowing His Church to go through 350 years ago. We believe we are the Tour organisation offering such a level of experience.

The approach we take

We want those participating on our Tours to really enjoy themselves as well as getting the most out of their experience and so make a real effort to customise the Tours we organise to the budget, agenda and goal requirements of our groups.

The application to our lives

Our Tours are good holidays, but they are more than that, they are opportunities to learn about the history of Christ’s Church and we are keen to share with you the lessons we have learnt from this period in Scotland glorious history, as we take lead you on the Tour. Lessons which we are applying to our lives and the church which we minister in today.

Worship on the Lords Day in Airdrie R.P. Church

The Reformed Presbyterian Church of Scotland traces its spiritual roots through the Covenanting Societies back to the Covenanters who died
during the ‘Killing Times’

in the 1680’s.

Today by God’s grace the

Airdrie RP Church is going through a period of revitalisation, a fact which

saw it featured in the

December 2006 issue of the UK national Christian magazine ‘Evangelicals Now’.

You will have the joy of
worshipping God with this vibrant Reformed community of Christians during your

Lord’s day/s in Scotland
