Preaching Braes

Spring has definitely arrived here in Scotland, the sun was out and the spring flowers are blooming. We took our dog and youngest grandson a nice walk down to the “Preaching Braes” for a play in the nearby park and a splash about in the water for the dog. A beautiful, peaceful place today, but what a sight it must have been when the Rev George Whitefield preached to many thousands of people here in 1742.
